Acceptance of these Terms

By using ArshCPA.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. These Terms apply to the public website and scheduling or inquiry features; they do not replace any engagement letter or other written agreement governing professional services.

Informational website only

The website provides general information about AR Accounting Company, available services, and educational resources. Website content is not individualized accounting, tax, legal, investment, financial, or other professional advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice based on your specific facts and circumstances. Tax laws, filing requirements, deadlines, agency guidance, and other rules can change.

No CPA-client or accountant-client relationship from website use

Viewing the website, sending a message, providing information, uploading documents for preliminary review, or booking or attending an introductory meeting does not by itself create a CPA-client, accountant-client, tax-advisor, fiduciary, or other professional relationship with Arshdeep Randhawa, CPA or AR Accounting Company. AR Accounting Company is not obligated to accept an engagement. A professional relationship begins only when I expressly accept the engagement and the parties complete any required engagement letter or other onboarding requirements.

Appointments and Microsoft Bookings

The website uses Microsoft Bookings to request and manage appointment times. Appointment availability is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and selecting an appropriate meeting type. Meetings may be conducted by Microsoft Teams or telephone depending on the option selected and the appointment details.

Please keep booking notes general. Do not place Social Security numbers, tax returns, bank account information, passwords, or other highly confidential information in Microsoft Bookings questions or notes. Microsoft Bookings is a third-party Microsoft 365 service and is also subject to Microsoft's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Website messages and communications

When you submit a website message or appointment request, you authorize me to contact you about that request using the contact information you provide. A website message, voicemail, email, or booking request should not be used as the sole method for communicating an urgent filing deadline, tax notice deadline, payment deadline, or other time-sensitive obligation. Do not assume that I have accepted responsibility for any deadline unless that responsibility is expressly included in an accepted engagement.

Confidential documents and Secure File Transfer

Do not submit confidential tax or financial documents through general website message fields or appointment notes. When I direct you to use Secure File Transfer, use that approved method for confidential documents. You are responsible for uploading the correct files, using the portal only for legitimate purposes, and protecting any access credentials or secure links provided to you. The secure file-transfer portal is the Financial Cents client portal, provided by a third-party service provider, and your use of it may also be subject to Financial Cents' terms.

Pro Bono applications

Pro bono assistance is offered at AR Accounting Company's sole discretion and is limited by capacity. Submitting a Pro Bono application does not guarantee that the request will be accepted, does not create a CPA-client or other professional relationship, and does not make AR Accounting Company responsible for any deadline. If an application is selected, any services will be governed by a written engagement letter in the same way as paid services.

Professional services and availability

Descriptions of services on the website are general and do not guarantee that I can accept a particular matter. Service availability may depend on the facts involved, deadlines, conflicts, professional standards, licensing or registration requirements, geographic jurisdiction, capacity, and completion of the applicable engagement process. The scope, fees, responsibilities, and deliverables for professional services are governed by the applicable engagement letter or other written agreement.

New York service limitations. Certain New York tax services are currently unavailable, as described on the Services page. In addition, AR Accounting Company does not provide services to help clients obtain New York State business licenses or permits.

Accuracy and timeliness of website information

I seek to provide useful and accurate information, but do not promise that every page, checklist, resource, deadline reference, or external link is complete, current, or suitable for every situation. You should verify important requirements with the relevant government agency, current authoritative guidance, or an appropriately engaged professional before acting.

Resource Center and external links

The website may link to IRS, state, local, Microsoft, and other third-party websites for convenience. Third-party websites are controlled by their respective operators. AR Accounting Company does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement unless expressly stated.

To show relevant resources first, the Resource Center may preselect a state based on your approximate location. The preselected state is only a convenience; it is your responsibility to choose the state or states that actually apply to your situation. Downloadable client guides are general educational materials and are not official government publications.

Social media

AR Accounting Company may maintain pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Business Profile, and similar platforms. Content posted there is general information under the same limits described in these Terms and is not individualized advice. Following, liking, commenting on, reviewing, or messaging those pages does not create a professional relationship. Do not share confidential tax or financial information through social media, and do not use social media messages to communicate deadlines. Each platform is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the website's original text, design, branding, graphics, downloadable materials, and other original content are owned by or licensed to AR Accounting Company and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use publicly available website materials for your own personal or internal business reference, but may not reproduce, republish, sell, misrepresent, or commercially distribute original AR Accounting Company content without permission.

Acceptable use

You may not use the website, scheduling system, message forms, Pro Bono application, or file-transfer process to violate law; impersonate another person; submit false or misleading information; transmit malware or harmful code; probe or interfere with security; overload the site or services; scrape or harvest information in a manner that disrupts the service; or send abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized content.

Website availability and security

AR Accounting Company may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue website features at any time. Although reasonable efforts are made to operate and protect the site, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, and complete security cannot be guaranteed. You are responsible for using reasonable security practices on your own device and communications.

Disclaimers and limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the public website and its general informational content are provided on an "as available" basis without a guarantee that the information will meet a particular user's needs. AR Accounting Company is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on general website information, third-party content, or an unavailable third-party service when no professional engagement covering the matter has been accepted.

Nothing in these Terms limits any duty or responsibility that cannot lawfully be limited, alters obligations imposed by applicable professional standards, or overrides the terms of an executed engagement letter.

Privacy

Use of personal information submitted through the website, Microsoft Bookings, and related processes, and the website's use of analytics and approximate location, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be revised as the website, services, technology providers, or legal requirements change. The “last updated” date shown at the top identifies the current published version. Continued use of the website after an updated version is published means the updated Terms apply to subsequent website use.

Governing law

These website Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
